Overpacking is on top the list of travelers’ biggest mistakes.  Here are some reasons:  security:  you are less likely to lose your belongings to theft, misrouting, or damage; economy: you do not have to pay porters, and you can take the bus; mobility:  you do not need to arrive early in the airport, and you can move from place to place without worrying about bulky luggage; serenity:  there is less to pack, so less to worry about; and many more other reasons.
