Kyoto Japan

For all you know, Kyoto was Japan’s capital and the emperor’s residence from 794 to 1868 and still remains as the cultural center of Japan. As of now, with a population of 1.4 million people, it is considered as the country’s seventh largest city. Over the history, Kyoto was destructed by battles and fires but because of its historic and cultural value, the city was dropped from the target list of cities to be atomic bombed and was spared from air raids in World War II. Its raked pebble gardens sensuously outline countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures that survived in the city. Kyoto is indeed Japan’s cultural treasure palace.
