Rajasthan is one of the largest states of India mostly because of its land area. It is part of West India, and the capital is Jaipur. Rajasthan is very rich in folk culture from its villages, with richly cultivated classical music and dance uniquely on its own. One of its internationally recognized dance is the Ghoomar dance a combination of Udaipur and Kalbeliya dance of Jaisalmer. It is also known for its traditional very colorful art, the tie dye prints, Bagaru prints, block prints and they also have the Zari embroidery. If you are a shopper, Rajasthan is a shoppers’ world with its beautiful goods at very low prices. Famous for precious stones, textiles and handicrafts, very eye catching jewelries and clothing. Don’t fail to include Rajasthan in your vacation list next time, it’s worth a try.

Dubrovnik, an old city on the Adriatic Sea coast, south of Croatia, is nicknamed “Pearl of the Adriatic and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one awesome tourist destination in the Mediterranean. The city of Dubrovnik was founded on maritime trade. In the Middle Ages, it was the only city state in the Adriatic, much like Venice. The 16th century saw the great progress in the city, gaining tremendous wealth and skilled diplomacy. Likewise, Dubrovnik was one of the centers of evolution of the Croatian language and literature. It boasts of notable poets, playwrights and painters. Dubrovnik is an elite destination and undeniably, one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. First there is The Magellan’s Cross which is located in Magallanes Street of Cebu City. This place is of much historical value to the Philippines because it’s also where the baptismal rites of the earliest Filipino Christians took place.
Cebu’s Fort San Pedro is the oldest tri-bastion fort in the Philippines. Built in 1565, its 8-foot thick walls and 30-foot tall tower bore witness to several wars, not the least would be World War II, in which it served as barracks for American soldiers.

Kyoto Japan

As of now, with a population of 1.4 million people, it is considered as the country’s seventh largest city. Over the history, Kyoto was destructed by battles and fires but because of its historic and cultural value, the city was dropped from the target list of cities to be atomic bombed and was spared from air raids in World War II. Its raked pebble gardens sensuously outline countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures that survived in the city. Kyoto is indeed Japan’s cultural treasure palace.
