It is the coldest, windiest and driest continent, with no permanent human occupant or resident(most human stays on an average of a year or more, specially during whaling season) only algae, seals, penguins and mosses. Antarctica got its name from a Romanized version of the Greek word Antarktike, meaning “Opposite of the Arctic”. If you want to visit Antarctica, you may want to stay at the McMurdo station. It is capable of housing more or less a thousand visitors, tourist and scientists.
