Antarctica, sometimes being mistaken by a lot of people as the South Pole. It is the coldest, windiest and driest continent, with no permanent human occupant or resident(most human stays on an average of a year or more, specially during whaling season) only algae, seals, penguins and mosses. Antarctica got its name from a Romanized version of the Greek word Antarktike, meaning “Opposite of the Arcticâ€. If you want to visit Antarctica, you may want to stay at the McMurdo station. It is capable of housing more or less a thousand visitors, tourist and scientists.
